Tractor Safety: A three part series: This State Compensation Insurance Fund produced video is a three part program suitable for anyone who drives a tractor. Viewers will learn how to prevent accidents by using safe tractor operating procedures and techniques. Part 1: "Basic Operation" focuses on the fundamentals of safe tractor use. Topics in this program include pre-operation checks, getting started, safe working practices, special hazards, inclines and hillsides, parking, stopping, re-fueling and towing. Part 2: "Highway Safety" addresses the life-threatening problems faced by tractor operators who use public roads and highways. It also contains information on how to prepare a tractor and equipment for use on public roads, special day and night driving techniques, and basic towing methods.
