DPR Changes Glove Requirements, Effective July 1

CFBF IT,

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has revised requirements for materials for gloves to protect pesticide users. Generally gloves will be required to be at least 14 mils in thickness, except for gloves used certain short-term tasks requiring greater dexterity. Manufacturers and providers of gloves can be expected to provide compliant products for use of growers, but growers should also be aware of these new requirements.
